About

Eva Acharya

Author/Screenwriter/Director

Eva Acharya writes contemporary romance novels with a splash of humour, a dash of quirk, and a parade of awkward humans trying to figure their lives out. Occasionally, she may dabble in sci-fi under the pseudonym E.A. Martin, seeing how she is a science teacher and thinks it’s a good use of her know-how.

When she isn’t writing novels, she can be found tinkering away at her screenplays. Yes, she does both. Call her crazy—she does!

She is an avid foodie who stalks Pinterest in search of recipes to try, binges Netflix shows and calls it ‘research’, and forever tries to tackle her ever-growing TBR pile—both literal and virtual—and continuously fails. Too many books, too little time.

Eva is originally from Nepal, and has lived overseas most her life. She currently lives in Australia with her action-film-loving, VFX-working husband. That’s it. That’s all.

And no, they don’t have pets.

  9. Not bad for someone who’s chosen career has not been motivated by family!! With this start it seems like the career path ahead will be much decorated. Success & Satisfaction are all subjective and varies from individual to individual.
